Building a Modern Tiny House in Connecticut

process.house is now on Instagram!

We’ve sort of fallen off the blogwagon over the last month or two. As of a week ago, the cedar siding is complete. This was by far the most tedious, but also most rewarding part of the project so far.  Over the July 4th weekend I completed the Ice & Water shield roofing underlayment and finishing touches on the facia and rake trim board. We can finally say so-long to the ugly gray tarp!

Head on over to Instagram to see the latest photos!

Anybody need a GINORMOUS tarp? Actually, I suppose we should keep it for the next time our BIG house has to be re-roofed.

I hope all is well. Is a small home cheaper and just as useful as an RV?

Hi Kevin. Tiny houses are more expensive than RVs, and also heavier, so they are not as practical for regular travel. Of course, it depends how big it is.

Nice. Would be lovely if you posted more frequently. Personally, I recently joined the Tiny House Movement and am enjoying every bit of it.

Well, hello there, kindred soul! I'm thrilled we've been brought together.

This site is a masterclass in design and functionality, reminiscent of a high-stakes Samsung Galaxy reveal. The captivating animations and cohesive color scheme make it a treat for the eyes. I can picture Kim Hyun-suk wanting to bring this owner on as a Creative Director at Samsung, setting trends across all their platforms.
